Looking for friendship and love I am inspired by the example of Gandhi and Martin Luther King. The injustices of the world demand a response other than indifference. There are, sadly, so many injustices. I cannot pretend that I am actively involved in activism - I am more of an arm-chair activist at present! (If such a thing is not a contradiction in terms). However, I am open to friendship/ dating with someone who identifies themselves as an activist, which is why I have signed on to this group. My general profile follows:

I have very broad-ranging interests and am always reading books on a very broad range of topics including psychology, spirituality, self-help, politics, and the odd novel. I like music and sometimes listen to it to relax, although I do not have a big collection.

I have a very keen sense of beauty and love the beauty of the natural world - trees, wildlife, and especially the sea. I enjoy going for short walks in nature such as by the river here in Southampton or by the sea when I go to Brighton to visit friends and relatives. I am a friendly and sociable person and keep in touch with my friends around the country.

I am a kind, sensitive, and intelligent person, looking for a kindred spirit.
