I'm 21, full-time student, involved with various community issues - transportation advocacy, recycling, salmon stream stewardship. I love doing all that but I'll be honest, it's a drag going out there everyday and feeling like you're one of the few trying to make a difference. I'd love to meet a woman as passionate about activism as I am so we could support each other in that.

I'm a rather low-key guy; I often keep to myself and enjoy solitude, I'm not overtly social and function better in individual rather than group situations. Intimacy rather than gregariousness would be accurate, I'd say.

For fun, nothing can beat a good hiking/camping trip in my books. I love cycling, nearly all sports. I'm in good shape physically and am always open to outdoor activities, though I won't say no to a night at a bar either.

Travel is one of my highest priorities at the moment; it might not always be the most sustainable, but it's always incredibly rewarding. I like to travel by bus or on foot or bike as much as I can, I'll hitchhike too if necessary.

That's enough about me; ideally, you are someone who cares intensely about the state of our world and wants to make a difference in it. You're physically fit and maybe a little eccentric; I love eccentricity, it's the spice of life. I like people who are shy and quiet as much as I like those who are outgoing. Hopefully you are interested in exploring anything from tantric yoga to aphrodisiac vegan cooking to simple living. Pushing the envelope and living life to the fullest and taking some risks is where I'm at in my life, and if that's where you are too I would love to meet you.

Don't be shy, because heaven knows I'm already shy enough as it is. I want to meet you as much as you want to meet me even though it might not be immediately obvious.
