I`m the type of person who finds filling out a little box entitled "About Me" a trifle difficult. Perhaps it`s because I find the whole process of posting a self-description sort of ridiculous.
Is it best to use the stand-alone single word adjective followed by the slammer: "Intelligent! Perceptive! Thoughtful!"; or, is it preferable to write a self-descriptive statement? "I`m a cultured man, who is interested in stimulating exchange, adrift in an area where thoughtfulness, liberalism (of both mind & politics), and engagement in the world often seem to be banished. "
Frankly, I think in these times of political benightedness, it is so important to share an intimate camaraderie. With that said, I won`t provide a list of specific attributes I seek. I`m looking for someone I find attractive (in all senses of the word); a person who isn`t particularly uptight, defensive, or "into themselves".
