Life should be about engaging, not simply existing. I'm a smart, sexy woman looking for a smart, sexy man. I have a job and am a single parent, so the amount of time I have to date is limited. I'm very open-minded and respectful. Ignorance is a major turn-off. I'm not really sure what I expect from online dating but am curious to see what I will find. I HATE games, so if that is what you are into don't waste my time.

I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, going to film festivals, concerts, art museums, parks, and working on landscaping projects at home. My tastes are VERY diverse. It's not that I'm elitist; I just prefer the unpredictable to the popular.

my religion:

I'm Agnostic, but respect others' beliefs. I would be interested in learning more about certain Eastern religions (Hindu in particular), but have never taken the initiative on my own.

favorite hot spots:

I like going to Thai, Indian, or Japanese restaurants. My favorite city to travel to is Chicago (I'm biased because my best friend lives there). I would like to go to Boston this summer. St. Louis, K. City, or Eureka Springs are good 4 weekends.

favorite things:

Where do I start? I love reading everything from humorists like David Sedaris to film theory by Linda Williams. I like foreign, cult, indie, and Asian movies. I like all kinds of music, but indie is my fave (Matador is my favorite label).
