I've been a teacher most of my life. Although I keep my politics out of the classroom, I often find myself getting sucked in to one debate or another. The activist in me comes out in times like those.
Coming from Chicago, I was pretty proud to say that I am a liberal, but I have been moving away from that lately based on the radical nature of liberals here in California, and see more balance.
