Is anybody concerned that Polar Bears will be extinct by 2050? It seems to me that the majority of my peers are more worried about being seen in church, and being viewed as a "good" Christian than actually being a good person. I discovered this while getting the recycling started at my school,GCC. I have an obligation to this world. The obligation is really simple, my obligation is that I do more good than harm while on this planet. I had no regard or respect for life until the age of 24. I'm 27 now, so activism is my retribution . I can't help but feel responsible for the atrocities America commits. The fact that N. America is not only thought of as a super power,but also a capitalist society. This is why America hasn't embraced energy efficiency to the extent that other alternative means of energy. Someone has to stop us because the sad fact is that we, well most of us do not care because we will be the last to feel the ramifications.
