Laid back lefty I've been involved in different forms of campaigning for a few years, though I'm not fond of the word 'activist' (ironic that I'm on this site eh?).

I joined this site with the hope of meeting like-minded people, for friendship first, then who knows?

I'm laid back, friendly and independent. I moved from Wales to London to study and after many a beer, sleepless nights of study and a few existential crisis's, I ended up staying.

I'm currently a trade union rep and involved with anti-cuts campaigns and occasionally, anti-fascism (though I guess most decent people challenge bigotry in its many forms every day). I used to be involved with the anti-war movement, then as a student, environmental and human rights campaigns.

My spare time is often spent reading, running (I'm training for the Bristol Half Marathon), watching films or socialising... Hardly original, but my presence always makes it freakin' awesome for everyone else.

Also, I am vegan. Bonus points if you you are too, but I won't send your --- to a gulag if you're not.
