Until we are all treated equally, none of us are equal. I enjoy meeting new people, whether they are open-minded or not, and having the dialogue I have with them. I believe that each conversation I have with people, every demonstration I am involved with, and each day I live my life openly, I will show at least one person that being transgender-identified is not as freakish as some say. I love the opportunities that rallys, conferences, protests, vigils, etc. provide my communities. I believe that we will some day be equal if we all do our parts to be seen by mainstream society.
