defend democracy from the absolutest (far right) When I was a Mayor I took on all the land speculators because they were misinterpreting and giving false data. So, I told my self, either put up or shut up.
So I ran for political office to keep the
City from buying into a crooked deal.
I was 27 years old at the time. I used political immunity to accuse them of
using their public office for their own
financial gain. I inherited a crooked
City Administrator, Police Chief, City Attorney, Building Inspector, City
Engineer and Planning Commission. I got
recalled (San Bernardino County) and later obtained top secret clearances--so I was clean politically. I also took
on two local newspapers. My opposition
also threatened me in Council Meetings
At one Council meeting, there was absolutely no Police presence--the
Police Chief was crooked!!
