I think it's an amazing gift to be able to help people make their lives better. I'm a transgender female who works for a large non-profit in the Hollywood area assisting the transgender community access employment and economic stability by providing employers and service providers with "Gender Identity 101" trainings. I also advocate accross California with local legislators to fund programs like the one I run. I keep pretty busy with my involvement as a board member of a local non-profit, member of an advisory board to the city of West Hollywood and many other things that keep my activist life healthy. Being a member of the LGBTQI community I'm exposed to diverse groups of people and life styles and would love to find a partner who could appreciate diversity and not be freaked out by it. Basically if you have been to Burning Man and it didn't freak you out and make you question yourself but rather made you stronger and more secure in who you are as a person then we would get along great! Other than that I'm pretty laid back and love spending time at home in Silver Lake walking my two Shiz Tzu's, playing Wii, living my super star DJ fantasy in my living room spinning records and love 420! I would consider myself a feminist and don't believe tasks are gendered such as taking care of a home/cooking/cleaning, all being womens jobs. I love being out doors, being in LA there are so many great places to hike, haven't been camping as much as I would like. Love to live life as an adventure and would enjoy the company of someone who could just pick up and go at a moments notice and step confidently into the unknown!
