Adventurous Traveler Seeks... About Me:
I am a returned AZ native. I spent several years traveling and teaching in small rural areas and am now back in Phoenix for more teaching and traveling, but most of it here in AZ. I look for and take advantage of any opportunity to be outside instead of in. I miss the stars that Phx so sadly drowns and enjoy finding new places throughout the state for tentless nights. I enjoy movies but not tv. Love reading and admit to having a large library of what most consider boring science books with a heavy mix of local loves, Ed Abbey and Barbara Kingsolver.

Good food is important. I enjoy learning new recipes and playing with old ones just as much as exploring local restaurants and supporting familiar favorites.

Inclined to enjoy a backpacking trip over an overpriced resort. Knows that an afternoon reading in a hammock is an excellent use of time. Finds enjoyment in their work, not just a paycheck.
